MY UP-COMING SHINING STARS

Teaching is the absolute way for learning, both at a time for student and teacher. I believe learning is an on going process which doesn't stop at any point. A significant part of a teacher is not only to develop the concepts related to course but also deploy the objectives of learning. 

Teacher's personality gives the long term effects on students. 

Additionally, courage, motivation, optimism and importantly way of learning are the essential factors for the student development in classroom. Student development rely on the contiguity of progressive work, their skills contribution and teachers right mentoring on the program. Through the way to carry out the student development program, perhaps the consequences would be firmly obvious.  

According to my viewpoint, I assigned my students - journalism minor '302' 2016 University of Karachi - to conduct an interview session with the well know personality. Apparently, students were divided into seven groups. However, six members were in each group. The challenging part was that my students didn't have any prior experience for the practical assignment. Despite of, students expressed a great interest and willingly carried out this task.

Some of the interesting pictures from the part of assignments by students are mentioned below: 

Students belongs ALAMGIR KHAN - founder of #Fixit Campaign - He started campaign against the higher authorities specifically Chief Minister of Sindh.

  

SALAUDDIN TUNIO a father of well know celebrity Fahad Mustafa. He appeared as drama actor in  a various Sindhi and Urdu plays. Students had a good experience with this interview.

A well know and a controversial political figure Mr FAROOQ SATTAR. Apparently, he separated from MQM. However, his vision and believes is consorted with MQM. Students during with his interview has smartly learned about politics. 

Students spent a valuable time in term of interview with famous drama figure ADNAN SIDDIQUI. His field experiences are worthy for the students to learn about showbiz industry. 

MUSTAFA KAMAL is a separatist of MQM. Currently his own party is hope for karachiites. Students conducted his interview in a short notice. In-spite of this he expressed constructively.  

Altogether, students by this activity learned a lot. Their commitment with work and passion indicates that their future will be like a shining stars. Moreover, I am hoping for the future learning to give by myself as a teacher to my students. 

SEMINAR ON WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY - 

UNIVERSITY of KARACHI

The World Press Freedom Day - 2016 has been celebrated by the Department of Mass Communication in University of Karachi.

Editor of Daily Express Tahir Najmi has expressed his views in the seminar that commercialism is the key factor; which has changed the definition of journalism. In the modern age; it has became a business. The specific mission and agenda are settled by the media organization. According to the identical and particular agenda, media is practice the journalism. Freedom of expression should be necessary for all journalists. Although, the question is raised that; how to use the freedom of expression in a right and correct manner. The definition of journalism has been changed. Many other corporate sectors are now controlling the media and its content. 

Editor Daily Jang Mudassir Mirza uttered his views while speaking with the audience. In the history of Pakistan's journalism; there were critically miserable charges has been imposed by the time in every regime. However, to take control on journalism is occurred the effects directly on country. The disastrous consequence has been faced by the country in 1971 on Fall of Dhaka. It was the immensely chronic effect occurred on that time. Besides the incapability of other elements; control on freedom of expression through journalism was one of the prominent parts in that era. Newspaper has been facing the dictation since the early stages in Pakistan. In our society; there are some other elements that seize the journalism. 

Further he said that; after the privatization of media; the enormous change has began in journalism. Restrictions can impose in a better way by media groups rather to control through government. For the state constructiveness; freedom of journalism is a fundamental principle. 

A tribute has been presented to Zamir Niazi - a well known journalist and freedom commentator - by the Dr Professor; Chairperson of Department of Mass Communication - University of karachi - Seemi Naghmana Tahir in the seminar. She articulated her views on the past era of journalism. The critical environment and hard conditions of events were the great challenges on that time for journalists. Moreover, journalism in current time is regulated by the monetary system. This is a business which designs the every level from reporting to desk news under the specific agenda. The marketing of words, ideas and news is out of the course of ethics in it. There is always a responsibility on freedom of expression by working journalist for the development and betterment of society. 

In addition; Senior Journalist in NewsOne Syed Alamdar Haidar, Chief Reporter Daily Dunya; Secretary KUJA, Teacher of Department Mass Communication Abid Hussain, Former Head of Federal Urdu University Dr Tauseef Ahmed has expressed their views regarding the responsibilities of working journalist. There is beyond doubt that freedom of writing and speaking is an essential part for practice. Freedom without responsibility leads to yellow journalism while attending the seminar.   

Assistant Professor of Mass Communication Department -University of karachi - Mohammad Osama Shafiq has performed the functions to organize and hosted the seminar. 

In the view point of blogger; Freedom of expression especially through journalism isn’t a easy task. Media is a fourth pillar of any state. However, the ill practicing and misuse of freedom could be in the fifth column of enemy. Today media in Pakistan is more near to fabricated journalism than untainted and authentic version. The essence of originality of news and the reports are being altered. There is not a single reason for the distortion of news along ill practicing in journalism. The development of news channels and newspaper are decreasing the validity of news. Freedom of expression is a core right for every journalist but responsibility is a primary requirement for society.

 Phantom 

A Pessimistic Approach Towards Pakistan

A country’s sovereignty, religion, culture, territory are enthusiasm elements which plays a vital role for a state. Media is the one of the institute that gives its intense functions for a state, especially in current time.

As media is a fourth pillar of state but beyond doubt it could be fifth column of enemy.

Pakistan achieved independence under the specific theory that’s Two Nation Theory. No one can demolish the concept of this theory or the ideology of Pakistan. The matter of the fact is, today we are under the fourth generation and information war. In this category media is a tool to use as a magical stick to control the mind of massive.

Recently released Indian movie “Phantom” is a clear example of Gray Propaganda. This is the orthodox attitude of Indian movies to create the negative, nonconstructive image of Pakistan. All the way through, lots of examples show the pessimistic state of mind from their movies.

In the Phantom movie, there are tons of flaws and errors. You can’t bring the perfection to create or design the negative viewpoint about any country until you show or establish the authentic and reality base script. 

That is beyond doubt that Phantom has a weak script.

My first critic on the movie is “A story you wish were true” is a tag line of movie. It indicates simply that they wish that happen what the creepy content they shown. A word “wish” is far from reality. So openly clear that is all about the emotions, minds set and believe of the Indian culture towards Pakistan.

The second critic is Saif Ali Khan plays a role of suspended Indian Army Officer and he is a son of retired corneal of Indian Army. He executes the plan which formulate by Indian Intelligence Research Analysis Department, confidentially. This is actually the self-confession through this act that their Army actually could involve in illegal works and activities. While there is no rule for Army officer of any country to carry out any illegal activities instead of espionage.

There is beyond doubt that Pakistan is under the ruthless terrorism. The all heartless and cruel activities have done by terrorist in past years. The only because of Pak Army operation Zarb e Azab has terminated the many terrorists and is being continued. Whereas, no one Pak Army officer is concerned with illegitimate activity.  

The third critic on the movie is violated the law of defamation. No one media department has authority to misuse the name of any other celebrity, designated personality or political personality. In the movie, is completely used political personality “Hafiz Saeed” in a targeted way.

Here, I am not supporting the Haif Saeed. But the charged he alleged by India on the incident of 26/11 was completely failed to prove. So, the law of defamation has violated through this movie. So, they would be charged on large penalty.

Indian media is highly concern with the nonconstructive image of Pakistan. As 26/11 Mumbai attack is the horrible incident for Indians, although there are lots of conspiracy theories behind the stage of drama that India played.

Pakistan has faced exceeding horrible attacks. This is the optimistic behavior of Pakistan to never give the direct blame on India.

Pakistan film industry is constantly becoming towards improvement. It is a good decision from censor board to ban on Phantom as they banned our "WAR" in India.

Phantom movie is all about the hate for Pakistan. Media is the art to express the frame of mind. So, shall we have to take it on serious note what actually India want, that shows from movies or it’s just a part of media war? – The answer is yours.

This is my little endeavor to create critics on movie.

  

CHILDREN ARE OFTEN A SILENT VICTIM – 

Kasur Scandal

A brighter side, a way to success, a source of smile, a shining star, the most valuable, the more sensitive and many more, is no one another is a CHILD. Children are the wealth of nation. They are the brighter future of tomorrow. Today’s investment on child is greater revenue of tomorrow.

Unfortunately, in the history of our beloved homeland have many horrible and mysterious stories and that can’t forgettable. Child abusing is a repulsive part of any society. Child abuse is another huge dilemma. This maltreatment with children most of occur in homes, schools, communities and also have a bad companies too. Abusing of child may be by physically, emotionally, and psychologically.

There is no chance of pardon for any criminal who charged in it.

In recent days the heartbroken news “Kasur Scandal” has given the tears in every eye. Is not it to drown in shame wink for all politicians, supervision, law makers and police as well??? When we hear the word - child abusing, so there is no kind of healing.

The victims of Kasur Scandal are not only the child of their parents. They are the second responsibility of government. Where the hell were the government and their ministry when the innocence victims have been tortured with the reprehensible sins?

This unbearable act was commenced from 2006.

There are so many questions arise after the reading of Kasur incident. Even it would be wrong to say it incident. This was the planned and settled activity. According to the newspaper reports there are many politicians have involved in it.

A group of 25 people was doing the indefinable activity on a large amount of crappiness. It isn’t easy to predictable that 400 videos, 248 children. They sold the videos in Rs 50. A gang of 25 people seduced and molested the children. 

According to the recorded details given by the victims that they forcefully assaulted and if they denied to do so they harshly beaten, terrified and threaten from the accused. 

The brutality is not enough here. Further the accused were doing the blackmailing to the victims families for money peculation. In such a case is this a humanity? Beyond doubt they set the example of great cruelty. 

There should be most strictly and rigorously punishment for the accused. Regrettably we are following the 1860 law. According to that there is no strong punishment against the criminal of this activity. But this time, it should to think about to change the system and law.

This is the big failure of government on Kasur Scandal.

This is the most embarrassing scandal in the history of Pakistan ever. Though in late 90’s the Javed Iqbal case seems also very horrendous act. He kidnapped, molested and then murdered and then he thrown the bodies into an acid. Mostly were the teenager boys. He confessed his crime and surrendered in newspaper office. At after everything else, he committed suicide in Central Jail in Lahore.

It is the open example that the police was inadequately failed to solve the Iqbal’s case until, he surrendered himself.

Seeing that the same scenario that today also police has failed to solve this case. On the failing of police for this abuse ring a huge protesters had protested against them. During protest the clash held between the police and the protesters. Dozens of people were toll to death.

While the controversial statement from the Law Minister Rana Sannaullah has provoked the emotions and feelings of nation. He claimed that this is no more to the land dispute issue between two parties. So there would be no chance of any abuse ring with children.

Further, only five accused have been arrested. Therefore, the appealing is to turn this case into military court.   

DANGEROUS ALARM FOR PAKISTAN’S IMAGE

The credible newspaper The New York Time has published the news story “Fake Diploma- Real Cash” on Monday morning. The news story has covered by the Bureau Chief of NYT in Pakistan Declan Walsh. The story was the investigative report on the Pakistani base IT Company Axact.

In the report, Axact Company has been accused on the charge to provide the fake degrees of diplomas worldwide. The company earns millions of dollars by trapping an innocent people. The report claims that the sparkle websites of universities and campuses have smiling face of mentors and students are all fake. They are the actors. Even these universities just limited to the internet. In reality they don’t exist anymore.

They offered an online degree program for instance related to engineering and medical field. Whereas the certification on the degrees by the false signature of Sectary of United States Of America of John Kerry.

The detailed report has also been mentioned the confessed statement of some former employees and the trapped customers.Further, there have been many questions raised on the Axact Company. That if is this only the IT Company so how could millions of dollars earn in a month. From where its revenue being generated.

While, on the other side the finesse response from the CEO of Axact Company Shoib Ahmed Shaikh said that the all dramatic situation deliberately conducted for BOL Channel. He said there are many media groups don’t want to launch the BOL channel. As this Channel would be a great competitor in the market.

Further, he completely refused to accept any single part of report. He said that is all conspiracy for a BOL channel.

After the publishing of report the quick action has been taken from the FIA Pakistan on the order of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. The working employees have bullying and detained by FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) officers for interrogation from Karachi and Islamabad offices. As well the computers and files have also been seized.

Generally, people in Pakistan don’t know the mysterious name Axact and their work. It would be a crusade for Pakistan’s image. According to the NYT report the Axact Company provides fake degrees. But there are two another gigantic issues for this company. The one is they provides the IP address to pornography websites and the other is they are involved in Money transaction.

I question here, Why NYT didn’t cover these two issues? Have they don’t enough evidence or they are not more interested for these issues.

My second critic is on Declan Walsh. We should do not forget his past working for Pakistan. Every time he involves covering the hard news story in a negative perspective. He is a man who has been blacklisted in Pakistan. According to the report by intelligence agency of Pakistan, he did a yellow journalism and visiting the no go areas without having the NOC (Non objection certificate). Well I am not here to support the Axact Company. But the matter of the fact is the designer of a report has also a blacklisted. So how much his story is authentic. It should look forward the proper investigation neutrally.

Another critic in the link with channel BOL. Why NYT don’t want the launch of BOL channel. They published the front page news story to cover their more than half page just because to get stop the launching of BOL channel. Is that make any sense. What CEO claims in his response that is the all conspiracy for BOL.But if to delink with the BOL. It coul be harmful situation for Pakistan. There are dozens of websites to scram everyday on the behalf of fake degrees and diplomas. But why only Axact Company has noticed by NYT. The question has to think about. Does they want to create any link with Pakistan’s intelligence?

Moreover, the response of Government is appalling. Well just on the report on newspaper they started their investigation. Law should be equal for all. Why don’t take any action on the Mir Shakeel ur Rehman. Why Government don’t make any active commission to get back the money from swiss accounts?

Hence, if Axact Company and its employees are involved in any sort of scram so they should be charge under the Article 6 – High Treason of Constitution. The investigation should be free and fair neither to base on any published story. But if the story proven wrong by the time so they have to pay compensation of defamation to the company.

I tried to analyze the whole scandal in a neutral way. I don’t support any party. While the truth have to come publicly. 

LIFE - An undefined locution  

Life is a gift of God, Life is a fantasy world, Life is a dream, Life is an honest question, Life is a fair exam and what so not life is... 

Many people have many perceptions about life. The only thing is matter that "You Are Alive" What is Life? It can not explain in one word, one sentence... 

In spit of that my perception about life is that "Life is for others"

There are many good things we can do in our life to make happy at ease. But the best we can do is to serve. Our duty is not only to make our life bliss and joyful, as a matter of fact other's responsibility is a major part. It doesn't matter we should be a philanthropist for serving as duty. But our nearer people for instance our family is a best reason of our life.  Up's and Down's are the essential part of life. Every time we go through from happiness and ruthlessness in it. People around us is a key function that plays an important role. 

Basically, life is bunch of people. There are many people comes and goes, Good by's are common in it. But it is not stay for a moment. 

At every breath we take a new step towards a new hope. Its a reason, its a motive, its a goal that always get you connect with life. When we have vision then it would be easy to find out a path. 

As i have mentioned above that every one have their own vision about life. Your point of view assemble by the experience you do. Time is a finest mentor to teach about people. Good experience motivate you to do more though bad experience give you clear image of object. 

There are many things about life that can not be enough to write. Although, my little endeavor could give you true essence of life from this blog.
